Be vigilant of your personal belongings, especially during the holidays when there is an increase in break-ins. Keep you and your family safe by locking the doors to your home, sheds, and vehicles. Let your neighbors and friends know if you are going to be away so they can keep an eye on your home. Let’s watch out for each other so we can continue to live in a safe community.
Holiday Light Strings Disposal
Did you know that light strings and cords should never go into curbside recycling bins? Winnebago County is offering FREE seasonal collection to help residents properly recycle holiday light strings. The Town of Vinland will be participating in the light string recycling program by having a collection box inside the Hall for residents to bring their holiday lights.
